Mission
To provide more public access to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and enhance knowledge of how to use AEDs in the Nashville/Davidson County area through public education and coordination of community services.
Vision
To increase the survival rate from sudden cardiac arrest and increase public empowerment to act to save lives.
Goals
Educate the community about the importance of CPR training and the use of AEDs to save lives. Increase awareness of CPR and AED training options and access to AEDs.
Overcome economic and other barriers to increase the accessibility of AED devices across Nashville.
Train people on the basic skills of CPR and AED use through community events. Offer certification training to intended users and purchasers of AEDs.
Ensure that people hear the call to action: Empower them to not only recognize and AED, but also become confident enough to use it and CPR to save a life.
